Kia Ora!

Greetings Everyone,

Again I come up slacking on my new postings haha! Everything has been really great here, I am still living with the cooper family and its been just a blessing for them to let me into there home. have also been working alot more than usual, haha! for the last few weeks I have been helping one of my team mates build a roof, interesting stuff let me tell you! So now I am back on the job hunting but I don't think it will be that bad, Because I think I will be working construction soon where I will be helping with the construction of Eden Park a rugby ground which they are renovating for 2011 Rugby World cup. So other than that news from Auckland is very good.

As for the soccer here, its been a dream so far, our team three kings are killing it, we are still undefeated and we are n the semi finals of the Chatham cup. one of the most prestigious cups in New Zealand. Our semi final game is this weekend, and the Club is expecting to have over 2,000 spectators, Bigger than any venue that I have played in haha! So its going to be an exciting weekend! I wish you all could be here to see it. Also some good news on the soccer front, I have signed with Auckland City FC one of the bigger clubs here in Auckland, a great team and I am very thrilled to play with them, there are three gk so its going to be a battle everyday in training. But the other good thing about it is that I will be able to play at a world stage tournament n Dec. Our team will be playing in the FIFA Club world cup in UAE. We play a team called Al Ahli UAE league Champions, if we win that game and the second game then we will play powerhouse Barcelona. WOW! so some exciting months to come up here soon. But other than that things have been great. oh yeah I also got a chance to go fishing for the first time here in NZ, we went out for red snapper, didn't catch much but got to see some really nice islands and get away from the fast city life, quality R &R. well I miss you all very much and hopefully will catch up again soon.
god bless,
Greg
